Hello all,

For this if you running mystery ranch packs, I'm looking for help with sizing. I seem to be perpetually between sizes.

I'm 5'10" 185lbs 33-34 waist.

I have been using a kuiu pack with large frame and belt. But I want a pack that doesn't stick up as high. Looking at the Metcalf specifically.

I don't know if the belt size should be measured from the outside of your hunting clothes? Because I'm more often hunting in cold weather up here in AK.

Anyways, I'd appreciate help with some examples of what is working for you and suggestions of good to mature sure the pack fits.

For what its worth, we are about the same size (except I'm heavier) and I went with the medium size with the same size belt. I measured for my belt with clothes on.

I own a number of different Mystery Ranch packs and find that the belt on my Pop Up 28 is smaller than my Pintler, Beartooth, and Metcalf. I'm 5'11' and have a 36 in waist and use a L waist belt for those three. I jumped up to an XL for the Pop Up 28.
