I have one on a 22 magnum.I'm going to the range this morning to see if a scope that's on a used rifle I bought is in working order.If it is,I might be willing to part with the Leupold.It's a Vari-X II 2x7,Gloss,standard fine crossshair.I think it's a 38mm.Works great on the 22mag I have it on.

If I remember right,the objective measures around 39mm on the outside.

I think the objective glass lens is what is typically used in scope specs, like 2-7x28....I thought you had a typo, no biggie. The 33 is standard and the compact I believe is 28. Probably has a C or the word compact on the end. I'm sure that's the scope the OP is looking for....

I have a pristine Vari-X IIc 2-7x28 available. The original Leupold Vari-X 2-7 Compact was only 10 (maybe 10.25) inches long. The Vari-X IIc is 11 inches.
