This post concerns local hunting for deer, ducks, moose, etc. This is not about outfitters or traveling outside the province.

Steve;
Good afternoon again to you sir, I still hope the day wasn't a bad one for you all and the weather is somewhat less hot than we're experiencing.

So far in BC, we're hearing that some of the FN folks will be blocking a few roads into their communities and perhaps traditional hunting areas as well, the reason they're saying is to prevent beer flu in their communities which admittedly have limited to non-existent medical care.

Other than that, again so far Steve, they're telling us we can hunt and fish wherever we choose so that's good news.

Mostly I'm hunting less than an hour from home, either on the mountain behind the house or the mountain just to the west of us.

All the best to you folks Steve and good luck on your hunts this fall.
