A local cop just told me the entire SWAT team has been replaced.
No longer will they be Special Weapons And Tactics...
They are officially Social Warriors And Therapists

Our Chief (political appointee and rubber stamp for our Mayor and radical Commission) came by and told us that it "is a done deal", We are short 400 patrol Officers so we will not be hiring that many to make up the shortage. He also said we are trimming our calls for service, so no more noise complaints, check on well beings, or homeless complaints. The School Board already voted to remove the police from the schools for the usual BS reasons, so pimps and dealers will have their fertile grounds to plow.
This city is stupid.

Gun confiscation might have to be done by the NG. Governors will issue an order. Orders will go down the pike to NG commanders who have a muster formation asking for volunteers for going door to door confiscating guns from law abiding citizens. It will only get uglier from here on out. These are the easy days. You could not pay me enough to be in LE dealing with today's BS! Slow hand salute to those who still answer the call!

Right now calling in for NICS checks is ridiculous. Yesterday I was on hold for 40 minutes on one call before hanging up. Second try was just 24 minutes before hanging up again. People are buying lots of guns.
