What chemical would you use to remove krylon spray paint off of a cerakote surface??

Recent purchase AR15 Upper with a little green spray paint on the Factory FDE finish. Might as well remove it

Citrus strip safe on cerakote?

Thanks guys

It should pose no problems to the finish.

Acetone and brake cleaner have both worked for me. Rub a dub dub.

I don't think Citri-Strip will hurt the CreaKote...but I would certainly test a small area before going full hog!

Cerakote is a ceramic based material. Citristrip for the win.

We buy 110 gallons a year

It's great for a ton of stuff in our shop
