Last time I took one, it worked but, a few hours later my blood pressure dropped to 82/48. I was dizzy, light headed and sleepy. First 30 minutes to 45 minutes were fine, after that my bp dropped. I am on BP meds. Good for a little while, but after that bad. I drank a lot of water to get my bp back up. Took a while. Dangerous if you are on 3 different BP meds.
I am going to ask my doctor about a shot, you shoot directly into your penis. It used very small diabetic needles. Used it a few years ago and had a super hard for 4-5 hours. It got to hurting after a couple of hours. Put ice on it, took antihistimine to get it down. No headaches with the shots, just feel a skin prick in the side of your penis. Wait 30 minutes and I was harder than Viagra ever did. I think I can use it again now.
Just trying to help us old guys out. I take Cialis 5mg, M/W/F/Sat so I can pee.......... BPH, I also take 5mg Lisinopril for BP.......... if it's going to be a strenuous day, yard work or such, I skip the Lisinopril.......... Doc says the Cialis probably does more to lower BP than the other.... If I take both and engage in strenuous labor I too get light headed..... First time it happened I finished mowing the yard and all I could see was a bright light in the middle of my vision and dark all around the edges........... told the Doc and he chewed my azz for not calling. Dangerously low BP.

I once attended a de brief where the AIC [apparatchic in charge] was a world class kghunt. After 30 minutes of scalding critique by this non participant remf he glowered at the assemblage of sweaty tired players and barked "any questions?".
My buddy said " Yeah, if you take Viagra do it make you taller?"
The room erupted in laughter and hoots. The best part was that these debriefs were video taped and could not be edited by anyone.

If you work 40 hrs/wk: at 5% inflation and after 5 years, you need a 28% pay raise or to work 44 more hours (*one full extra week* per month+) to make up the difference.
