Tonite is oven taters and skillet burgers. Little bro coming out for a 4 day wknd and arriving late tonight. Whiskey, coyote killing, tons of epic food including brisket, beef ribs, etc. Good times. Maybe I'll snap photos...

Momma did stuffed bell peppers with ground venison, cauliflower rice, mushrooms and cheese. Wish I'd taken a pic but I was coming off a 48 hr fast and was ready to eat.

Started this afternoon with blistered shishitos from the garden (finally had enough to do something) and a few cold drinks. Then onto elk burgers and fresh okra seared in bacon grease.

If Nathan wasn't an outdoorsy fishing type of guy, I'll bet he is by now!

As I've noted before, you are a lucky man!

country "ribs" - browned on the stove, then to the oven for two hours at 275, covered, then another half hour with B-B-Q sauce applied and uncovered - mashed potatoes, apples and onions, garden green beans done by Blanche, then fried with onion and slices of yellow squash
