Looked like there was a fire before the blast, so not likely to be a weapon deployment. But it also looked to be a lot more high-energy than "fireworks" so I'm betting on a weapons cache or bomb factory where some dumb bastid made a stupid mistake, started a fire, and...

That's my guess too. Or the fire could be a cover for the explosion. I think the former is more likely.

I figure that someone put a FRAM filter on some machine, it failed, the machine over-heated, and BOOM!
