Whatever it was , it was a single explosion and did not appear to be an actual weapon. It looks like the fire got into a large batch of a highly explosive chemical.
Looked like there was a fire before the blast, so not likely to be a weapon deployment. But it also looked to be a lot more high-energy than "fireworks" so I'm betting on a weapons cache or bomb factory where some dumb bastid made a stupid mistake, started a fire, and...

Fireworks are largely black powder, powdered metals, usually aluminum/magnesium, with various oxidizers of the nitrate, perchlorate variety.
That explosion and the extent of damage seems to me more high explosive than fireworks. But, I guess enough fireworks could make a big bang.

The fireworks show was probably courtesy of Netenyahu's deep cover boys. You don't get to keep being the baddest dog under the porch unless you crawl out and bite somebody occasionally. He's very aware of that and he reminds his own people of it as well as the neighbors.

Reports say fertilizer plant, nitrates. Nitrates make one hell of an explosive. All it takes is a good fire to get things going and a little pressure as provided by those silos and a little fuel and whamo. Witness Waco TX in 2013.
Growing up, the Goex Black Powder Plant was located in Springbrook 3 or 4 miles from my home. I recall it exploding at least twice over the years with results similar to what happened in Lebanon. A giant mushroom cloud, concussion and very loud explosion that could be seen, felt and heard for miles up and down the Wyoming Valley. Buildings in proximity were damaged. The plant buildings were obliterated and there were many lives lost. It was in a somewhat unpopulated area. Don’t know where it’s located now.
