As usual, Cuomo concerns himself only with New York City.......

Been there a few times on business, before I retired. Can’t fathom living there.

Hey folks,

We refused to enforce common sense law and order, we allowed the police to be the scapegoats for everything, and we turned this place into such a sch!thole that everyone who could leave, left. Now we need all you suckers in the rest of the country to chip in your tax dollars to pay our bills.....

Think that about sums up Cuomo's stance.

I work there every day, Manhattan. I was born and raised in Staten Island moved out in 1988. People are not leaving the city because of culvert 19, Some did in the beginning. There Leaving now in droves I see them on my commute home Cars full of luggage roof racks it’s amazing to see. They are leaving because the city is no longer safe, things are bad. It reminds me of the 80s in the 90s. And were ever those pricks go New Jersey, PA (where I live )They’re going to destroy it. They destroyed the Jersey shore they destroyed upstate New York there like a cancer. They saw firsthand the rioting and looting. Anyone with money is leaving. I drove past the Black Lives Matter graffiti on 57th St. today the best I could do is spit out my window on it. You can cut the tension with a knife in the city, it’s dying, not that I give a [bleep].

Reminds me of the old 70's movies that showed Harlem looking like a bombed out Hiroshima and Times square was nothing but sex shops, porno theatres, hookers, pimps and drug dealers and people getting mugged on every corner.

Crazy cycle..... Conservatives and decent folk get things turned around and a few years later everyone forgets the past and repeats the same scenario's that allowed it to get bad.

No wonder libs hate history so much... it undeniably implicates and showcases all their failings.

It’s an understatement, I Took a walk today about 2 miles, I try to do it every day :-) today I took photos of all of the stores that were closed down and for rent or lease. In this area 12 months ago you needed to know someone,To get rental space, for the most part and pay buchu bucks for rent. I would post The photos here but I don’t know how to do that. The cops don’t give a [bleep] penny more you don’t even see them around and all of the thugs know it.

It’s funny, people watch movies about it I remember it, We used to go up to 42nd St. as kids 14 15 years old. Started working in Manhattan 1978, you couldn’t even walk in Harlem, hell you couldn’t drive through Harlem.

My brother spent close to 30 years on the NYPD, went on the job 1977 he was undercover, plane clothes When he was in the when he was in the 77 precinct Brooklyn mid 80’s, He was street crime, Gun squad amongst other things :-)his record in one year was 125 guns, and he said he gave a half a dozen away to the new guys so they would get a good collar, that’s a fact! 8 shootouts and those with a revolver days. They couldn’t go to all the 911 calls.

BamBam, that’s some heavy information there.

I have 2 nieces that had a very successful jewelry store/antiques shop in NYC. They’ve shut down and moved their goods to Cincinnati, closer to their mom. They did this in March.

Do you know where your nieces were in Manhattan? It’s a ghost town anymore I’m 59 years old I’ve been up there my whole life I’ve never seen anything like it. In the 70s 80s and 90s it was nuts but there was a lot of people around. Most of my family were on the police department including myself I did a very very short Stent. Was not for me. Most people don’t understand how bad it actually was.You put the gun squad from my brothers era, time frame in Chicago without their hands tied they will reduce shootings by 80% in a year and a half. Maybe shorter.

Let me Check with their mom and find out. I do know that Lady Ga Ga shopped there several times as did Demi Moore. Amy Winehouse was another customer.

I don’t ever see another Rudy G for NYC. And to think that it’s the financial capital of the world.

The damyankees can play musical chairs with where they live all they want- - - -as long as they stay up in the snow belt. They're no more welcome south of Ohio than they were 150 years ago!

If they're Republicans, I say, Let 'em Cross. Democrats are about to ruin the South . . . for a third time.
