My beagle gets really bad skin allergies and he itches constantly. His skin gets extremely red and almost looks like he's bleeding. His hair is falling out as well. He pretty much stays on apoquel and an antibiotic but he can't stay on them forever because I don't think that's good for him either.
I finally broke down and had him allergy tested last week. He's allergic to all the grasses, weeds and a bunch of other stuff. He's also allergic to rice, soybeans, white potatoes and alfalfa. Guess what's in his food. All of the above except the alfalfa. So, now I gotta fiend him a food without all that crap in their.
Any suggestions on what food I might be able to use? He's been on Beneful.
The lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part!

Dub, just put in a request with a couple I know that had the same issues with their dog. I'll get back to you when they answer.....

This is what I am feeding my GWP. No potatoes, rice, peas, soybeans, lentils. https://www.chewy.com/wellness-core-rawrev-wholesome-grains/dp/248839I started grain free to get way from corn, but went to this considering the possible heart issues of grain-free foods as noted in another thread.
