Yup I like that scope a lot, very bright with a great reticle.

Good looking rig! I've never shot the 220, but have a bit of experience with the Brownings.

The area where I hunt has been slowly been built up over the last 25 years and one or 2 locations went to slug or bow only about 7 or 8 years ago still lots of deer. I purchased a 220 which was very accurate with 3" accutips and mounted a Leupold slug hunter on it and I liked the sub tensions for longer ranges but after 2 years with the 220 it went down the road and I sold it with the scope. I wish I had not sold the scope..
I purchased an A bolt 12 gauge and mounted a Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40 slug gun shot quite well but the recoil was serious for whitetails weighing 150 max. I had fired 340 weatherby 300 win mag without issue at all but that 12 gauge slug gun rox.
My next was a TC Prohunter 20 gauge I bedded a 1 piece EABCO base to the top and mounted the same conquest on it and it has held up for 3 or 4 years now and probably 30 or 40 whitetails in that time with no issues. I still wish I had hung on to the slug hunter or had the BDC reticle though.
The zeiss conquests are is a really nice scope and excellent for the price point they were at new IMO and I hope you enjoy lots of use from it. The extra 4" of barrel makes a significant difference in stopping power.
Good luck and shoot straight y'all

Nice.
My slug days are behind me, thankfully, but that would do nicely.
What fresh Hell is this?

Not the OP but have one set up like that for heavy predator loads, insurance that the scope stays put on a heavy recoiling weapon.
After the first shot the rest are just noise.
Make mine a Minaska

I've got a Vortex Viper 3-9x50 on my Savage 220. Great combination too - I've killed several bucks with that setup.
