This would be my choice if it weren't for the deep fried dogs up around Erie. You try any of those and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Texas Hotdogs in Altoona are great too as well as Cony Island in Johnstown but White Turkey sizzledogs are better IMO.

The local golf clubhouse sells Farmland hotdogs off the rotisserie and they are fantastic. They get them off the food truck. I've looked all over for them and can't find them anywhere. Costco sells Farmland bacon but not the dogs for some reason.

You can buy them in bulk but who needs that many hotdogs?

Nathan's tastes good, but has sweeteners. The really healthy dogs are kind of bland, but with enough spices, I can't tell the difference.

Easiest question ever asked on the Campfire - Koegel's, by far. Nathan's is second. But, yeah, man, that's just like my opinion.

Steamed, covered in Coney sauce, chopped onion and mustard.

Hebrew Nationals are nasty. A real cased hotdogs is put out by Hills in Oregon. These are real hotdogs and not the fake junk and are held in link casings. They're good.

Teton Ranch Brand available at our Costco. The package says polish sausage but they are essentially a hot dog. Best I’ve had.

Maybe a local thing, Carolina Packers, red skins. I serviced some equipment for them in the 80's, they used pork bellies and some chit they scrape up off the floor.
I still like them. Grill them up and make homemade chili.
I'm one of the people that it don't matter where I go I can eat whatever the locals are having and most times like it. Hot dogs, beer etc don't matter.

If your store has them, try a pack of Kentucky Legend hot dogs. They're pretty good, and I doubt they are expensive, or my wife would never have bought them.

Used to like the Seattle Mariner dogs and Kirkland brands, but Hebrew costs less and kids seem to like them better. Seems like Costco prices are 1/2, or less, of what the other stores charge.
