and no idea what I should build. I currently have a 223 Wylde that shoots 55 and 69 great, so no need for another 223/5.56. My other AR is a 6.5x6.8, so have that area covered. I also have a Rem SA laying around, so need to consider that. I was looking for a fast 22 cal, so was either going to do 22 Creed in Rem SA or 22 NXS in the AR. down for anything, as long as I don't have to fire form brass.
Ideas?

Does Nosler make a 22 Nosler yet? Probably the only one they missed.

I had the same problem. I decided to go with 7.62x39 as I somehow ended up with two AR magazines for that cartridge. I also have a bit of ammo for it as I have an SKS that I seldom shoot. It's not as good of a reason as buying a new gun to fit a box of ammo you ended up with but it is getting close.

I’ll watch this one closely, I’m in the same boat. I’m torn between a ultra lightweight 6.5 Grendel, and a .224 Valkyrie bench gun. But I’m open to suggestion.

I'll throw a vote in for the 6.5 Grendel: real easy to shoot, very accurate with any ammo - only have room to push it out to 300yds and FWIW the 7.62x39 and 6.5 Grendel AR magazines interchange (thus I saw a NEED for the 7.62x39 upper also).

Satern got the vote on my new Grendel....

Initial groups with factory Hornady were damn impressive.

22 inch 224 valk. just finished 4 of them for wedding gifts. 500 yard 6 inch gong gets boring.
dont have a 1000 yard range close so haven't tried them on that.

Might be leaning towards 20 Practical. I have thousands of empty 223 LC brass laying around. Cheap to shoot, esp since I get a little trigger happy with the ARs. For the longer work, I may make the Rem SA into a 22 Creed or 6x47L for the 1k stuff.

I have my 6.5x6.8 for my coyote work out to 300, so too close to a justify a Grendel.

Sounds like you should just go pistol in 300blk. Cut down brass and have fun. Subs and supers capable

Or go 223 again in a pistol. Smaller platform from your others I’m sure. Handiness abounds with this. Say 11.3-12.5” barrel.

You have the other bases covered it sounds. Or rimfire upper in say 17wsm?

Maybe

Would do a pistol in a heartbeat, except I live in one of those fun states.....or I could just build a pistol upper...

350 Legend pistol with an Obsidian 45 Suppressor. Ammo is why cheaper than 300blk.
