Would anyone be interested in a Ruger 416 Rigby with twenty fired cases and twenty new cases? A couple of boxes of 350 grain TSX bullets, Factory Box and papers included. I shot this rifle 20 times. It’s in pristine condition. I need $2,100 plus shipping.
A few years ago I paid for a Safari for my three brothers and me. Two brothers came down with cancer and died. I gave away the safari. Now I’m getting too old to go.

I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

Bump for a great caliber rifle. Took my first elephant with one. Very sorry to hear of your loss. I’m 72 but will be headed back next year for buffalo and plains game in the Caprivi.

I think that is a very reasonable price for what you are selling. The famous author and hunter John Taylor had nothing but good things to say about the performance of the 416. If I was one who could afford a safari hunt in Africa I would most certainly pick up your Ruger in 416 Rigby.

It's an unfortunate time to try to sell a great hunting rifle like that.
With all the crazy stuff going on, Glocks and black guns are the rage; the classic hunting gun market is pretty soft.
That is a great gun at a really fair price. My good bud killed a nice cape buff in Zim with one of those. He loves it, pretty sure he wouldn't sell it for $2K....

Great rifle and cartridge. Hate to hear about your bothers and the cancelled safari.
As long as you're realistic it's almost never too late to get to Africa for a safari. The right outfit and PH will work with you to set up a hunt you can physically accomplish.
Know how you feel about time creeping up on us. I had to cancel my safari scheduled for July, and it's starting to look like the 2021 season is southern Africa may be iffy as well.
