My Lab is now 3.5 years old and should qualify as the most spoiled dog ever. But he's eager to please and doesn't take advantage of his status.
He's got to be the best natured dog ever. It's never occurred to him that somebody could be an azzhole. He walks up and wants to get acquainted with everybody that comes along.
Going to the vet is one of his favorite adventures. Even though every time he goes there he's getting poked and prodded and having needles stuck in him, he puts up with it just for the chance to be at a place with dogs and smells of where dogs have been. Even the vet commented on him,..said, "He seems to be a happy guy".
If he runs across a dog with a playful nature he'll jump in and participate until both are exhausted. But he's gotten picky about dogs that don't behave up to his standards. The people who live at the farm behind us have 5 dogs and they all seem to want to show how territorial they are when he goes back near the fence. They won't bite or fight. They just stand on the other side of the fence and bark at him. He stands at the fence and looks at them like they're stupid. Every now and then one or two of them come up here and he goes out of his way to ignore them. The people who lived there before had a Malinois and they spent every day together running here and there. But he doesn't want anything to do with those yapping mutts that live back there now.
Dandee thinks it's a game to get dirty laundry out of my wife's hamper. Drags it out and has a blast he does. .
Learned it from you, huh?

The desert is a true treasure for him who seeks refuge from men and the evil of men. In it is contentment In it is death and all you seek (Quoted from "The Bleeding of the Stone" Ibrahim Al-Koni)
Sometimes run across a nice dog with an azzhat of an owner. On occasion vice versa.

Thank you sir. She was re-homed with us when she was five. We’ve had her for two years. Sweetest and most devoted dog I’ve ever known. Within 24 hours I was her human. Won’t let me out of her sight when I’m home. She loves Etta and loves to be in her lap if mine’s not available but is definitely my dog.
Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.
