I've got this Drathaar who after twelve good years is slowing down some with hip problems. Walks okay yet but has a bit of a problem climbing stairs etc.

So today I was browsing around Cabelas and happened to notice some dog beds they had. Looked at one that was pretty soft and was about eight inches thick with the chopped foam in it. Imitation leather risers on two sides. Hell, I could fall asleep on one of these. Only drawback that I could see was the $99.99 price tag.

So what the hell, I'll just put it on the plastic and worry about it later.

I neglected to pull that tag off before I brought it in the house and when she saw it the fireworks started.

"I can't believe you spent a hundred dollars on a damn dog bed!"

I let her say her piece and then calmly replied.

"I still owe him a lot more than that."

She never said another word.

Pursuit may be, it seems to me, perfect without possession.

ok, in your wife's defense.... a hundo is a lot for a dog bed....

That being said.... she could have bought two pair of Chinese made shoes with that hundo....

Well... we have come to the point.... where... the parasites are killing the host. It's only a matter of time now.
