Good Evening, I know everyone is at the edge of their seat watching the democrap convention :-) , Anyways, I've been looking for load data for Hodgdon Benchmark and 55 grain FMJ for the 223 Remington. I have looked and haven't found anything on any kind of load data for these Winchester 55 Grain FMJ I bought back in 2010. I was on a reloading hiatus for almost 10 years. I've looked in several books and on the web, and there is nothing on this bullet and powder combination.

26.5 Grains....shoot a lot of those.. especially since I've been loading up on Benchmark over the last three years where a lot chain store has been selling it for $23 a pound....

This is from bolt guns...its awfully darn accurate also...if it is a good FMJ, not Amscor or some bulk CRAP....

26.5 grains might be a bit hot in some rifles, back off a grain or two and work up

I have been using Benchmark for 7-8 years and found 25.0 grains to work with every 55 grain bullet I have tried in my Remington 700 SPS.
