Is the American field magazine still around? I took it for about 30 years when I quail hunted

If you mean the magazine associated with the Field Dog Stud Book, it is around, or at least in an online form. I recieve offers to get the mag whenever one of my dogs is used for a otter.

If this a magazine of the same or similar name more in line with Outdoor Life or Sports Afield then I have not heard of it.

It's still there but doesn't seem to be doing too well, it is online only now. Declining bird populations plus the costs associated with bird dogs probably aren't helping. I didn't replace my last pointer because I lost my training spot plus I've been squeezed out of my hunting spots where the bird populations have also declined.
