I remember when a couple of company Reps were demonstrating the 'new' bulletproof vests to the Oklahoma City PD and decided to show how it was knife proof, too.
It wasn't.

Watch the videos of these riots and see what your likely threat will be. Every riot has a ton of rifles. If I were buying armor, hard rifle plates would be non-negotiable.
your flippant remarks which you so adeptly sling

The bolsheviks that the Kenosha lad shot would not have benefitted from body armor.

Price seems to be all over the place and from what I gather a soft vest won't stop a 5.56? My guess is most of the BLM crowd will be dang lucky to hit you shooting a pistol. Correct. Think pistols and shotguns. If you do get hit you probably won't be fighting much longer anyway. Salient point that. Fellas I know that were hit by AK's on ceramic armor plate....didn't take a deep breath for a spell. It ain't a light tap on the chest, nosiree!
I am..........disturbed.

Purported to be wearing a ballistic vest...Not sure. Anyone familiar with this style vest? To me it looks more like an impact vest. Bullet wound entrance seen from pics, seem to indicate it was a torso hit in a area that should have been caught by the vest. 😎

The modern ceramic stuff is now somewhere around 8 pounds. Not commonly available yet.
