Had some tires put on my Sam’s club. I dont think they balanced them right. High spots in the tread. Less than 10,000 miles
Dealership was replacing a hub bearing last week says my tires have not been rotated ‘correctly’

I try to rotate my tires every time I get an oil change. I have free lifetime balance and rotation with tire purchase so I let Discount tire do it.
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

Front or rear? Uneven wear like that is usually caused by worn shocks or struts dribbling the tire down the road like a basketball. Once that wear pattern is started it's virtually impossible to correct. Rotation has nothing to do with it.

Wouldn't the stealership have checked those?

Could just be schitty tires. I've got Goodyear Wranglers on my Ram and they've just been awful. Three flats in 4000 miles.

1st rotate is back to front, 2nd is diagonal. Repeat process until you get sick of looking @ that set of tires. I let them rotate mine during oil changes every 5K on my F-250 and my Murano.

I try to rotate my truck tires at every oil filter change (5 to 7K miles on filters, 20K on oil changes) but sometimes fail to do so. It’s getting increasingly difficult as I age to rotate the pick-up tires as they weigh in @ 150+ pounds each....19.5’s on steel rims! I pick a day when I’m feeling “bullet proof”......which isn’t often enough!
I mix rotations, sometimes front to rear, sometimes diagonal! memtb

If the tires are directional, they can only be rotated back to front. I just replace mine in pairs unless there is a good reason (smokin' deal for four) to change all. Usually about three pairs of driving wheels per steering set on the Ram diesel. Fairly even on the 81 Dodge. FWD car uses up about three pair on the front for each .set on the rear. Every time I buy tires, promise myself I will change my driving habits but I always forget. GD

How many miles do you have on the shock absorbers? It's the head gaskets you have to worry about.

I rotate mine every 6,000 miles. Front straight to back, back straight to front. I don’t ever cross em’ over.
Every day on this side of the ground is a win.

I never run a tire backwards. I'll have the inside tire of my dually and same side front tire dismounted and remounted and balanced so the aluminum wheels will be right. You can get excellent tire wear if you take care of them, 60k miles isn't hard to accomplish with a little maintenance.
Life is good live it while you can.

Speaking of rotations, I rotate mine approx every 6K and use a figure 8 pattern.......X pattern, then side to side, X pattern, then side to side. With many tread designs, if you keep the tires going in the same direction for too long then they will cup, chop or feather on the front portion of the individual tread blocks (in the direction of rotation). Reversing the direction will smooth 'em out. Been doing it that way for 40 years and my tires always have remained nice and smooth with no cupping or shopping.
