I usually hunt in southern Colorado around Trinidad. The area east of Trinidad is known as Sunflower valley. There's been a prolonged drought this year in that area and there just aren't any sunflowers or milkweed in my usual hot spots.
So looking for options for two hunters, my son and I. We're pretty centrally located in Castle Rock, so don't mind driving a couple hours. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
