Our Mr Coffee is 10 -12 years old. Makes a pot full daily, 12 cups. We vinegar clean it occasionally. That occasion occurs as frequently as a couple of times a year some years.

I'll bet anything that it was vinegar that had 10% ethanol added! (Either that or you were using FRAM coffee filters.)

Thanks, but what I need isn’t there. They are sending my a seal kit for a 30 year old model, but seals for recent and current models aren’t available. They are fearful I will electrocute myself.

Our wedding gift Mr. Coffee finally quit at 10 years,never cleaned it,except to wipe it off.It crapped out one morning and i dug out Grandma Stella' s old 9 cup Corningwear percolator pot,we ve been using it ever since,makes better coffee by far.
