I saw a recommendation for his books on here a few months ago and then one popped up in my Amazon suggestions a couple weeks ago so I got it. I've read 4 of his books in the last two weeks and they have all been excellent. Thanks to whoever made the recommendation on here

He's got about a dozen or so out so you've got some catching up to do. You will find that the last was as good as the first.

I have read them all. No clunkers in the bunch. Just wish he would write faster. Met him once. He came here and did a little talk at our local library. Seems like good guy and the real deal.

Same here, waiting for the next one to come out.

In the meantime I have started on the Michael McGarrity novels, set in New Mexico. I began with his American West Trology and really enjoyed them, then I realized that he wrote those as a prequel to the Kevin Kerney series. I have read the first couple of those, they are pretty good.

Have also sampled a couple of the easern game warden, Mike Bowditch, in Maine, by Paul Doiron. They are ok, but I’m not a enthusiastic about them as I am about Joe Pickett.

I have been too lazy to look and see which one came along first, who copied who.
