Episode 5 with The Great Chuck Adams. A good listen

Thanks for the heads up. Gave it a listen today. Adams is a class act. Years ago I read his book life at full draw, really enjoyed it.

He is a hell of a man and hell of a hunter. I thought the Podcast was good, only wish it was longer.

Shot fingers for years, developed target panic in 1999 at the Vegas shoot. Went home from Vegas picked up a release shoot a 300 with 60x’s and that was it for fingers. I have a Bob Lee that should arrive in the afternoon tomorrow that I picked upon the classifieds. If things go well next year it will be my whitetail rig for whitetails on the Milk.

Not many Finger shooters left at Vegas in 1999. David Cousins won Vegas in 1999 his first of two 2008 did it again.

I remember that well. Finger shooters never have held the spot light. 1997 was my year, I won bow hunter limited in a shoot off against Kevin Ziter. Good times! Haven’t competed since 2000. Spend my time raising my boys and hunting now days.

I grew up on fingers. Never took to a release much. I have a release bow but don't shoot it much. Hunting is my thing, I shot competitive a long time ago was fun but then life happens.

Nice !!!!I have to track down some AIM, I believe, strings for one of my pro vantage bows. Not the fastest but very quiet and smooth and forgiving bows.
