Archery opens today here. It was cool yesterday but highs are still in the 80's and 90's. No thanks, maybe next month

Archery/small game here opens September 19th. It should be cool by then. Next week we have temps in the 50's and 60's. That will get some juices flowing.

Small game opens September 15th up here.

I haven't really done much small game hunting in the last few years with the baby. But I'd like to get out and swat a few grouse this year. It's time I think. Maybe Chickenbuck Joe left a few in MN for the rest of us.

My allergies tell me it's two weeks until the leaves really start changing. I've sneezed about 15,324 times since yesterday. It's like the Farmers Almanac....it's pretty spot on.

Crap apples trees are just starting to turn. Drove up to Walker on Saturday and noticed a few maples were a little red.

You too? I've sneezed more in the last 2 days than I did all summer. More than usual, I'll keep closer tabs on using it as a barometer from now on regarding the season changes. I'm in the field quite a bit so I all ways chalk it up to a patch of something I walked through this time of year.

I get them worse in the fall than I do in the spring. It's not too bad, I only have them from April til October.

Looks like a mighty big mower for that tractor. How many horses in that one? I imagine your road will be pretty nice in short order.
