My Leatherman PST II that has been with me for a lot of years, ran away.

What is the latest and greatest in multi-tools?

I've carried the Wave for many years now. It has literally gotten me out of some tight situations. I will go nowhere without it.

I'm going on my third Leatherman Charge Ti and have a new one on the shelf for when the current one gets lost.

Had this last one for a good 4-5 years so I'll probably lose it today or tomorrow....

I carry the Surge... much bigger, but once you switch you will never look back

Hell of a useful tool... REAL Bosch hacksaw and bone blades.

The size took about one day to fall in love with.

If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.

I beg to differ. I have lost more leathermans than I can remember. I've tried several different models, but I always come back to the Wave. Just bought another one last week, can't believe the damn things are a hundred bucks now. I had a Surge, and didn't like it. too big in the pocket.

I have a Gerber too, it's more robust as to the pliers I think for sure. But I like the knife on the outside of the Wave. Opens as easy as a pocket knife. I've gutted and dressed quite a few critters with my Waves. For a one tool does all it's hard to beat.

You can also order a pocket clip and lanyard to prevent loss.
