I am considering a LH Semi auto 12 for Geese and coyotes .I think these entry level scatter guns were at one time made in LH . Anybody here own one of these ?

I have a 12 and a 20. Have used the 20 to bird hunt and it's been good for me. I clean it often and shoot the lighter loads. I have the second 20 still in the box as the 20 gauge lefties are the only option besides Benelli in semi auto.

I don't know if they are being imported any more or not. There were 12 gauge in wood and camo and some 20 gauge in wood. I actually bought my guns at Academy Sports. These were left hand models. I haven't searched for them in a while.

The Escorts have not been listed by Legacy Sports for a couple of years now. All they list are the Pointer line and no LH models are listed.

LSI Escorts were made by Hatsan in Turkey and are similar in function to a Remington 1100. I believe Legacy stopped importing them a couple years back. CDNN had them on closeout for $300 for LH 12g models last year, I thought about picking up 20g model since about the only LH 20g available is a 1300 Benelli M2, but the escort 20g sold through quickly. Not sure on overall quality they looked like the typical overglossed finish seen on lots of Turkish guns.
I believe the only cheap gas semi auto LH shotguns out there are used Rem 1100, and the Turkish TriStar Vipers for around $600. Franchi has an inertia Affinity for about $750 that's basically a cheaper synthetic Benelli. 1k gets you into Benelli Montefeltros or Remington Versamax, $1400 is Benelli SBEs and BerettaA400s
Wouldn't mind a new LH autoloader but $1400 for an A400 is tough

I have had a 12 gauge Left Hand Escort Camo for a couple years and it has been a solid gun. After about a 100 round break in it performs as well as my Left hand 11-87

I don’t have any experience with the Tri Star shotgun as far as performance.
