And don't have time to screw around, it's time to hunt. What works? Need rangefinder pocket too.

I believe a harness/chest pack is what's being asked about.

I really like my Kuiu bino harness. I slide the Sig case that came with the rangefinder on one of the side straps to carry it.

I use the Alaska Guide Creations bino pack. Houses my 10x42 Meostars and a Leica 1200 RF in the small front pocket.

You have to at least check out the Badlands, cant remember what model mine is but I love it. It has the magnetic closeures and a rangefinder pocket on the bottom. the only downside is that it takes a few days to break-in and fit perfectly to your bino's

Agreed. I use mine the same with 10x50 SV's.

AGC classic with MAX pocket

Works with my 10x42s rangefinder, phone pocket on top and enough room for my tripod adapter wind checker and spare shells

I use a Alaska Guide Creations Cub with my Swaro 8.5 EL's. Fit is a bit snug, but works. Plenty of room in the front pouch for a RF unit.

I’m more of a minimalist, really like the Rick Young harness. Only down side is the bino has zero protection. I really like the lack of bulk.

FHF hands down. Well built, not bulky, and modular.

Recently switched to a Marsupial and am liking it so far.

I used the Rick Young setup for a while but I found that it dug into me and started to chafe on mountain hunts/long hikes.

I've had good luck with the Kuiu setup as well.

Which one of the systems was it that the flap folded down and forward rather than up against your chest?

All of them do something better than the 30-06, but none of them do everything as well.

Marsupial folds forward away from your chest. Secures using magnets when it's in the "closed" position.

So does the Badlands Bino XR - https://www.badlandsgear.com/collections/gear/products/bino-xr
