58 years old - not a safe queen. Lots of use and memories.
223 Rem, my favorite cartridge - you can't argue with truckloads of dead PD's and gophers.

Hard to believe that 1969 is old but it's C&R so I guess the ATF agrees. Colt Officer Match

Here's a couple of semi oldies. The old Single six has gone a million miles with me and finished off a few truckloads of trapped coyotes. Along the way there were lots of raccoons, skunks, rabbits, grouse and a few snakes. I found a Hunter holster in a bin of used holsters for a couple of dollars. I turned it inside out and resewed it. I was pretty short on funds back then. Still have the holster today and still wear it when I'm out with the Single Six. This S&W is a 22/32 Kit Gun I picked up recently. Haven't found an appropriate correctly handed holster for it yet.

Question, why did you turn the holster inside out. I have one for my Single-Six, so am I missing out on an improvement?

My guess is he is left handed. Great sixguns Mart!

I had to make it correctly handed. I feel sorry for right handed people. They never know the joy we experience daily, overcoming obstacles and functioning, most times flawlessly, in a right handed world. Drop a right hander in an entirely left handed world and they would be terribly lost.
Thanks MOGC. That SS and I go way back.

That is a beauty for sure. I notice you put a trigger shoe on most of your colts, is it to help with the heavy pull?
My targetsman’s trigger is heavier than I like but don’t want to do anything to it. Mostly because I really don’t know about them and don’t want to experiment on it.

nah, it's because I just like them. Have a bunch of them and every time I get a new gun, I go thru them and see if I have one to fit. To me, they make the pull more consistent.

got another one.... A nice one! I never run across a Woodsman around here. As far as that goes, Colt's in general (other than 1911's) are scarce in this neck of the woods.

Here's one I recently picked up. Stevens Model 10, tip-up single shot target pistol. Made 1919-1933. Latch visible on left side, manual cocking striker knob visible sticking out the back. Black hard rubber grips. Kind of an odd duck, but nicely balanced.
