Does anyone know if the XS scout mount made for the 1895 will fit the 444ss.

I am looking at "Item Number: ML-6000R-N
Fits: Marlin 1895 .45-70, 450, .444".

My concern is the distance between the front reciever holes and the rear dovetail are different on the 1895 and 444ss.

If someone could measure their 1895 and let me know, I'd appreciate it.
