Has anyone purchased one of these and would be able to tell me if they are for a 1 piece or 2 piece bottom metal? I called cdnn and they were unable to answer that question. If it wasn’t for their 15% restocking fee, I’d just order it. Featherweight stock

If as described, actually Win mfg, that’s a heck of a deal, finished or not.
If for two piece bottom metal, one could inlet for one piece. Or if for one piece, Stocky has a spacer to adapt to two piece. Not a hill to climb either way.

I bought one a few years back from them but havent used it yet. I figured at that price and it was for 1 piece bottom metal, I could just get the adapter.

I'm not sure when one piece bottom metal replaced two piece. The older New Haven guns were mostly 2 piece, at least that's my understanding.
Browning, BACO, went to one piece. If CDNN says they're made by Winchester, they could well be for the older two piece set up..
If by chance they are for one piece, a Stocky spacer will solve that problem easliy and they're not that expensive. Done right you'll not notice the difference.
That's a deal. Wish I needed it.

CDNN also lists the adapter I believe.

DF Transition was roughly 2000-2002. There is a post on here somewhere from Matt Williams that goes into the specifics. I’ll try to find it.

Found it. My father and I developed the one-piece trigger guard for USRAC in the latter part of 1998 and fully developed it for production in 1999. The first models were for long-actions only and they were used for Safari Express, Super Express, and Super Grade models.
I believe it was about 2000 when we developed the short-action model, which was later revised in 2005 because the engineers made an error on trying to copy our outside profile, subsequently increasing the width of the front tang. They did this because they brought out our design in a casted aluminum piece to use on all of their rifles.
That casted aluminum guard is what FN is currently using on all of their rifles, other than the Safari Express that was just introduced this year. It has steel on it, but not from us.
During the 1999-2002 timeframe, we also made all of the flooplate and hinges that were used in conjunction with USRAC's aluminum trigger guard. Those were used exclusively on the Sporter LT and Classic Sporter; the stocks claimed to have been designed by David Miller, though David has a bit of a different story on that......(grin)
