I ran across a good deal on a big jug of Power Pistol yesterday and grabbed it. I’ve never used any but have a Brian Pierce article that lists it for 44 Special cast bullet loads.
Any of you guys use it? If so what applications?
I load a lot of 45acp, 44 mag and special, 9mm, and 38 special. All of the above with cast bullets.

Power Pistol can be used in all of your cartridges. Power Pistol has a burn rate close to Unique and is clean burning powder
I got banned on another web site for a debate that happened on this site. That's a first

I've personally used it in .40, 9mm, .380 and .44 Special.

Yep, it's a good versatile powder & is my go-to for moderate to full power loads in 9mm & 45 ACP. MM

Yes, use it in a FA '97 44 Special to easily push 180gr XTP's to 1000 fps, accurate and CLEAN.

It was very noticeable in mid afternoon after some Unique and Bullseye loads but it did shoot a bit tighter.

In my experience, Brian Pierce's .44 Special load shoots well in my Blackhawk, but there is definitely a fireball out the muzzle.

I've had good results with it in medium power cast bullet 44mag loads. Im still working with it for 44spl, 357mag, and 38spl loads for 357mg revolvers.
It does burn clean.

Well I have the big jug of PP so I suppose I’ll use it. Unique is my favorite handgun powder anyway since I load almost everything in the middle of the road performance levels, so Unique burning rate is A-okay with me.
I was just a bit shocked that they had it in stock along with the primers I bought and at a very good price even before the latest round of panic buying.

I think you'll definetly like it.
My Ruger flat top 44 spcl likes 8.5 grains of it with a Rim Rock 260 grn "Keith" bullet. It gets carried as a general duty gun in the desert and the mountains.

I used it solely in 9mm with good results. Never got around to trying it in anything else.

PP is a little slower than Unique and is very efficient for hotter or +P loads but it is flashy and LOUD. Cast bullets in medium or heavy for caliber bullets do very well. Brian Pearce did a .45acp article in Handloader and the 200gr loads were very fast and not +P. You have a very good powder for cast bullets and it works a lot better in a powder measure than Unique.

I love it for my10mm. 9.3gr yields just shy of 1300fps in my 5" Delta Elite Gold Cup and averaging 1.5" @ 25yds.
