All my magazines are loaded homogenously, unless I run out of XXX 9mm and have to mix 'n'match to finish up a magazine. I don't see the point. The theory being if the guy I am shooting at is still alive after 6 rounds he is probably behind cover. My 45 get 230 gr. FMJ's all up. Dog I rescued in January

Alternating different rounds is basic armchair gunfighting theory for the obsessive. However, while the practice may be of dubious worth, it probably hurts nothing if the ammos all feed reliably and the points of impact are close.
