I have a NIB Win 94 Trails End De-lux 38-55 . I bought it new in 2007 . A New Haven Conn., made in the USA Winchester. Not Japan. Have keep it cleaned & re oiled about once a year. My other 38-55 is a Marlin Cowboy bought new in 1999 as best I remember. Never shot anything but my own cast bullets thru it , & not that many. My dilemma is I love them both but need to sell one. But which one. would you keep ? [Linked Image from i.postimg.cc][Linked Image from i.postimg.cc]

Keep the Marlin because it ejects from the side and you can mount a scope on top of the receiver.

The Winchester's an "Angle eject" so a scope can be top mounted too. Both nice rifles but I'd probably keep the Winchester because it'll never be made in the US again. Hell, who am I kidding, I'd keep both!

Yes would like to keep both but one has got to go. It's a tough decision I'm going to have to make.. Was just wondering what you shooters would be most inclined to keep.

You can't make an informed choice until you shoot the Winchester. Keeping it NIB is just unrealized potential!

I understand, but greatest value for the Winchester is as NIB. Have a couple collectors interested , not shooters. The made in USA I'm finding is off considerable importance

I’d sell the NIB Win, keep the Marlin.

Sell the most valuable one and keep the other for using. If you keep the most valuable one and use it it'll end up imperfect and less valuable anyway.

You have never even shot the 94.
If one has to go, let it be the one that will bring the mo$t.
Or, the one that means the least.
This time,they line up.

Sell the one you won't shoot. Surprised that angle ejects are collector's items.

I don't know how long the angle ejects were in production but it wasn't long.
