Picked up one of these today even though I’m right handed because I’ve always wanted to try one and the price was too good to pass up. I shot a very good group at 50 yards on a turkey target and went 10 for 10 on hand thrown clays, even with the full choke and son giving me all kinds of screwed up angles. Any other righties try shooting left handed shotguns?
The good thing about Benellis is that they have adjustable stocks. I'm a lefty and shoot right handed automatics with the safeties converted. I primarily do that because right hand guns are cheaper. But also because Benellis balance on the bolt and I carry a shotgun with my left hand. The bolt knob is in the way on left hand guns. You could do the same in reverse for the left hand gun. Or trade it to me for my right hand SBE II..
I presume you Know that Benelli’s have reversible safeties. For example as a lefty I buy “righties” and switch the safety so if I decide on resale or trade its much easier.
