today the wife had surgery. Hospital rules are 2 visitors only. Not at the same time but those 2 visitors are the only 2 allowed during the patients stay.
I can understand 2 at a time but the same 2 people only????
Guy was going off on staff today. Dad was in a terrible accident. He has 3 brothers and a sister plus the mom. Only 2 of them can visit...period.
Also no one under 18 allowed in hospital unless they are the patient??wtf?
My daughter lives with me. I'm good to go but the kid is a nogo to see mom.
Can't wait til this scaredemic is over with.
Read a story from back home and same thing in Anchorage.

I'm hearing similar things around here. Hard for families who are having babies.

My Dad had a heart issue a few weeks back and ended up in the hospital. Spent several days being monitored before making the decision to install a Pacemaker. No family/visitors whatsoever allowed throughout the entire ordeal. I'm really glad he didn't die in the middle of it...

Our area, hospitals have a rule whereby the Dad can accompany the Mom when she first admits. And can stay with her for the duration. However, if the dad leaves, for any reason, not allowed back in again...

I had surgery earlier this year for 2 hernias and my wife was not allowed in at all.
She dropped me off and was called when they were done.
It dam sure is not right.

Had surgery last week and my wife wasn’t even allowed in the door. She had to wait in the parking garage and they kept her posted via cell phone.

Good buddy was in hospice and on his way out. Going to see him was like walking into a sci fi movie set.
They had the entire inside of the building lined in plastic with tunnels th njng down the corridors. Air pumps to pressurize it, air locks with enclosures, plastic suits for visitors with masks.
And this was a hospice center.....ain't a patient there getting out alive.
The world went full covtard this year.
