I prefer classic. Semper Fi I used to run with the hare. Now I'm envious of the tortoise and I do my own stunts but rarely intentionally

Got mine in Oklahoma today; my order was "complete" the evening of the 16th, so I guess that is 7 days from Montana to Oklahoma.

That's pretty much in line with the long-time estimate for USPS media-mail, which is 3-5 "business days"--meaning weekdays.

Hoping mine arrives today. The pre-ordered books did NOT all go out at the same time. There were so many it took four days to package and mail them, so some will be arriving later, both due to that and the variability in distance from here. The good news is that, in general, the post office is doing a lot better than during its summer "vacation." That said, if yours doesn't show up this week, e-mail Eileen: riflesandrecipes gmail.com Gotcha.

Mine showed up in AZ today. Thanks John and Eileen!

I spent the afternoon at the rifle range today. I shot 5-shot and 3-shot groups at 100 yards. I loaded 50 rounds yesterday and tried them in the two rifles that are candidates for taking hunting in November. When I returned home Gun Gack III was waiting for me. I found myself nodding along with the chapter on rifle accuracy and the one on shooting at 100 yards. I was disappointed with one rifle but after reading GGIII, I realized that 5 shots into 1.1" was probably pretty good. I also was reminded that the other rifle probably would not shoot 5 shots into 0.32 inches as it did three shots. I don't know if it or I consistently shoot that well because I stopped after the first group-three shots touching one inch high at 100 yards-and declared victory. Now all I have to do is not mess with it for 6 weeks. What I need is an article on how not to mess with things that are where I want them.

You can read a book comfortably, while sitting on the privy at moose camp! Or a privy anywhere else for that matter!

Good!
That's not out-of-line for media mail--especially for where you live... :-)

Got mine a couple days ago. Cause for a couple sleepless nights of reading and now I'm sad that I'm done. But, there's always GG IV to look forward to, right, right?! (If I can burn the midnight oil reading it, you can do the same writing it, John!!😀)

We are already thinking of GG IV, though Eileen has another game cookbook to bring out next year.
