Dingy Harry did not remove the cloture rule in the a Senate for SC Justices, McConnell did, in order to confirm Gorsuch.

McConnell deserves all the credit and Trump just bypassed his outstanding efforts to get Trump’s nominees confirmed.

My understanding is that Biden has hired hundreds of attorney's to fight the outcome of this election. I fear there's at least a 50/50 chance it will be decided in the court. I don't see any alternative but to get another originalist in the fold. Whoever the nominee is, needs to be vetted rigorously. The only group that's ever gets surprised as to what they got are republicans. Democrats vett strenuously and they are NEVER SUPRISED. It's time we use their same tactics.

Joe Miller who is a good friend of mine made a solid stab at taking her out in the primary and a bunch of lobbyist mobilized forces in the rural hubs like Kotz, Bethel and Nome to vote for her. She squeaked by a thread after a really dirty campaign. Most regular Alaskans hate her guts. She doesn't come back often because she is not welcome. We have our problems. Los Anchorage and Juneau are libby centers. Trump only won in Alaska by 1 %. We got a lot of liberals from Washington, Oregon and California that want to make us blue. You should see how the campaigns of Dr. Al Grossman and Alysis "whatzhername" are threaded to us as 2A advocates.
