SCOTUS has 1 primary job, decide the constitutionality of the issue.

Nothing more.
Most cases could be ciphered out by a high functioning middle schooler.

Does an abortion law violate a woman's rights.
Nothing in there. Let the state decide.

Gun ownership?
Pretty clear.

Property rights/eminent domain?
Public good/public service.

Not, to take property to give to private business.

Conservatives have been appointing scotus judges to try and counterbalance the Liberal Socialist Democrat appointed agenda driven judges.


Roberts is one major fail on " Our" side...


President Trump and Sen McConnell need to get this done and get a conservative female judge on the court.

One of the reasons many of us voted for Pres Trump and will again is to appoint conservative constitutionalists judges to the scotus and as many other federal courts he can.

She doesn,t really have a vote in the matter. Not her seat to fill dead or alive. She set her butt in it well beyond her ability to serve it for years and for no reason than she is a feminist activist and wanted the seat to filled by Hillary the first woman potus .

It doesn't matter what she wants or wanted, she didn't have any say in the matter when she was alive and she doesn't now that she's dead. The constitution doesn't make mention of a justice picking their replacement, it's the President's job with the senate's advice and consent.

The Garland nomination vs. this vacancy is apples/potatoes. Trump is not a lame duck like Barry was.

As much as I want trump to have 4 more years, this is bigger than that. And is a hell of a legacy (ir)regardless of the election outcome. Certainly WAY bigger than the success of any senator running for re-election now.
