The insurance companies and the property owners that do not get full restitution should get a good lawyer (wanting to make a name for themselves) AND sue for the mayor, council members, AND sue those elected officials that were supporting the riots PERSONALLY for the money to make them complete financially. Those government officials exceeded their oath of office and maybe became personally liable . . . Good research project for an astute legal scholar https://www.axios.com/riots-cost-pr...tm_campaign=organic&utm_content=1100 The universal "WE" will all chip into pay for it! ! ! ! All thanks to the organized mobs paid for by lil georgie anarchist bastard!

In reality these look to be on par with the 68 riots.

You're assuming that the system will work fairly and justly. It won't. It's broken. They only justice anyone will see is what they take themselves.

Louis, I agree, but seeing them personally without incurring expenses to taxpayer is probably difficult.
I don't think elected officials are exposed to much personal liability for any official actions.
Ironic, when truck drivers, cops, doctors.... can all be personally held responsible for honest mistakes in an incidence that Pops up and last 3 seconds. Politicians get time to make considered decisions.

Probably not but they can be tried for criminal activity. The fact they allowed the mayhem to continue unobstructed constituted dereliction of duty and that is a criminal offense. You may well not be able to sue them but you can damn well send them to prison. Paul B.

Be nice to see them held responsible.
Negligence is the absolute least thing they have done.
