There are no studies proving that wearing face masks alone will protects you from a virus no how many times you hear that there is on the TV news. I ate lunch in a small south Texas town yesterday and NOBODY was fearing masks just like I expected. People are getting real tired of wearing masks. Michelle Malkin just put this short 8 min video together about wearing face masks:

Good post... Maybe 20-30% of people wear 'em around this area.. I don't. I won't. Not now - not ever...

I stopped at a German restaurant in a small town about an hour from home, I was at the end of a 400 mile motorcycle ride Saturday and I was hungry. The sign said wait to be seated and I was in full armor with my helmet and tank bag in my hands. The hostess asked me if I had a mask and I said no but I would wear my helmet to be seated and she said no, pointing to the sign and saying you have to wear a mask.

There were picnic tables setup end to end, row by row and packed with people as old or older than me sitting shoulder to shoulder.

The entire pandemic is stupid, the rules are beyond stupid...seriously, a mask is required to walk through a restaurant to be seated where a mask is not required. Where the fk' do these people think the air we exhale is going?

Fk'em...I walked out without a confrontation and fk'd them on FB.

I know the majority here despise FB but it has it's benefits, businesses hate bad reviews.

^^^ This ^^^

From what I'm seeing here around my area (other than those who actually have preexisting health issues that could be complicated if they contracted covid-19 virus, flu virus, etc.), the most adamant about wearing face masks in public settings are largely hard-core Democrats who push it as a political statement, not because they honestly believe masks to be effective preventative / protective aides.

He is using cases that have came to light. Remember the private property owners who refused to make a gay wedding cake being sued into non existence... If that was fair why shouldn't it be fair for folks to sue business owners for making people wear masks in their business?

I think most women are more attractive with a mask on. Maybe it is because they aren't talking as much. Maybe the uglier part of the face is the bottom half.

Reading comprehension Okie. Water droplets are caught by the mask. The virus is in the water droplet. The mask catches it. When I go around people like the folks at walmart i want protection from the virus spreading people of walmart like you. Name calling is a bit childish. Cashisking you can make up to 500 gallons of your own liquor each year. You just can't legally sell it without being taxed and regulated. But you can give it away to any person you wish. 500 gallons is a lot for one man. Suit yourself. Please don't get caught selling illegal booze. I have it on good authority that Leavenworth is a bad place to live. Be Well, RZ.

recently, I was entering the local branch of a chain liquor store. The black employee inside told me I had to wear a mask. I told him I had a medical exemption, and did not have to wear one. He countered by saying it had nothing to do with local law and exemptions, but it was company policy. My riposte was 'well, if corporate came out with a policy that banned black folks, would you be ok with that. Doing so would contravene law but hey, if it's company policy, it's ok?"
While he tried to figure that out, I went ahead and bought the Bulleitt Rye whiskey I wanted, paid and left. On the way out, he walked over and said "what you said was uncalled for". I told him to just think about it.

I figure a lot of the reason for the Chinese wearing masks is because of the horrendous air pollution over there. As in India they probably burn everything they can for fuel. Like tires, plastic, used oil. We don't much do that, at least not on the scale they do.

Got escorted out of Sam's club in Macon by security for not wearing a mask. There's nothing you can really do about it besides leave the store. I had 45 rounds of 9mm and 5 rounds of 22 mag and a good right hand at my disposal, but using any of them didn't seem like the right thing to do.

How about “No Smoking “ signs on private business property?

As usual, you don’t know what you’re talking about. You just blather.

I don't like wearing a damn mask, but I'm not going to make a big deal out of it either. I figure the business that has that "you have to wear a mask in here" sign up has a legitimate right to do so. Some of you just don't like being told you have to do something you don't want to do, that's all this boils down to. Just go shop somewhere else, or go home.

Having said that, I suspect that if, given a choice, most businesses will tell you that they'd rather be open and requite a mask to be worn, than shut down like so many were earlier this year. No doubt, there was a huge overreaction to the so called pandemic, as the Democrats and the media knew exactly what they were doing in blowing it up. But, just suck it buttercup, and don't act like wearing a mask is the end of the world.

Wearing a N95 or KN95 would save 40,000 lives a year if everyone wore them. Masks are

required for the same reason you can not drive 85 MPH in a school zone. The more you wear the

masks the less of a problem it is. N95 masks stop 95% or more of viruses, smoke and other particulates.

They stop viruses down to .007 microns plus almost everything else.
