i would think that if Iran were to kill any president of the USA, even someone like Obama or Hillary, they would be absolutely obliterated. Somebody like obama or hillary would probably help iran. No way would they retaliate.

They probably say this every day. Just showed up in an article this time. Yep. Who cares; it’s a threat from a gnat. The Deep State would love nothing more than for Trump to get into a war with/in Iran or Syria. To the extent he continues to resist that, this stuff will be echoed all over. :shrug: But even 1 gnat can bite. I'd hate to be Trump's security detail. If they try, it'll be a suicide mission and those are very hard to defend against.

I don’t disagree but I was suggesting that this may be part of a broader strategy to move toward another war in the ME you can see from this thread there are already many here who’d fall into that trap.

Destruction of Iran would benefit Israel in several ways. I think past US Presidents have discouraged Israel from doing so. Bush wanted to preserve the oil passage through the Straight of Hormus. The magic knee grow sides with the Muslims and wanted to see Israel destroyed as well as the US. Trump is much more likely to use Israel to destroy Iran rather than involve the US in another middle East war. If he turns Israel loose, I think it will be quick and decisive.
