Apparently the Democratic Brownshirts are using a bunch of peaceful protesters to close on police lines and then thugs stand behind them and attack the police with bricks, ice water bottles and baseball bats.

I think that the police should have undercover officers stationed behind the rioters where they can shoot the thugs using deadly weapons against the police. The police lines can charge thru the protesters if the undercover officers need help.

If one is forced to take defensive action, so be it.....if one is simply trying to stop rioting and looting.....spray them with skunk extract.....very strong!

Progressives are the most open minded, tolerant, and inclusive people on the planet, as long as you agree with everything they say, and do exactly as you're told.

It would be simpler and more effective, for the police to shoot the front line, when something comes flying out from behind.

As you stated, their agreed purpose is to hide the individuals committing felonies.

They're in a conspiracy, with the others, to commit multiple felonies.

So, they're as guilty and liable, as the people back in the crowd.

The police are justified in treating the person providing cover for the bomb throwers, as if the person providing the cover, *is* the bomb thrower.

It would have not gotten this far if those in charge had acted when they started looting.

Protesting is ok but when they start burning and stealing everything that is not nailed down it should be put down.

Back in the late 60's early 70's they would let it be known wide and far that looters will be shot.

It only took 1 or 2 before things got peaceful.

This isn't a tactical problem looking for a cute solution to separate good rioters from bad rioters. There are no good rioters. The blockers up front are every bit as guilty as the brick and firebomb throwers behind.

It's a political problem. Rioters are Democrats. City governments are Democrats. They aren't going to eat their own.

55 grains would be plenty.

Absolutely.
The problem isn’t the rioters tactics it’s the local governments handcuffing the police. There are a whole of ways that the police could end this but the local politicians won’t allow it.
They could just declare a riot demand that it break up and arrest anyone “peaceful” or not that hasn’t vacated the riot zone.

Undercover, shooting from behind, WILL hit their own compatriots.
BAD idea!

Plainsman456: You are exactly correct ("It would have not gotten this far if those in charge had acted when they started looting."!)!
I will repeat this warning for all - gentlemen load your "magazines"!
I just loaded ALL my Glock magazines (and I have a LOT of them!).
I am sure they will be fine until after the November 3rd election and the January 20th inauguration.
By then I hope to have my own AR type Rifle.
Its gonna get nasty - sadly I just feel that in my bones.

The "peaceful protesters" are a part of the rioting mob if they don't vacate the area with 60 seconds of the initiation of violence. MOW THEM DOWN if they remain in the area. No prisoners.

There's a reason a police shotgun has been called a 'riot gun' for quite some time.

We just need mayors with enough sack to give the effective ROE.

The ROE needs to put the rioters at a disadvantage, not the police officers.

You might technically be correct, but politically it would be terrible to mow down the “peaceful” protesters. Do you remember Kent State shootings?. Shooting thugs throwing bricks at the police could easily be justified and accepted by normal citizens.

These scum have the “peaceful” protesters between them and the police so if there are people accidentally shot it would be the protesters working with the brick throwers. They might want to use pistols shooting subsonic round and a silencer.
