Both my 1971 Mach1 and my 1968 Chevelle are missed. I had several other cars and trucks I thought were pretty cool but those too stand out as ones I would like to have back. I dont miss my motorcycles much, too many close calls that were out of my control. I would like to get a ski boat to eventually miss in my older years.

never really had any nice cars and any nice vehicles i had i drove into the ground. but i passed on a couple of pieces of property for decent prices because i did not have the balls to go into debt and was raising a family. still drive past them once in a while.
i think i have more regrets about schit i should never have bought. 2005 dodge 1500 truck comes to mind. fuggen worst piece of schit i have ever owned and i have owned some real pieces of schit. lost thousands on that truck before i gave up.
My diploma is a DD214

It is somewhat amazing how much work, and time some people will go to to track down grandpa's old tractor, and buy it. Yes! And throw thousands of $$$$$ into it and never get it started.

Family farm. Grandparents sold it when my ol man was in the marines in the 70s because nobody in the family wanted to farm. He said he moved home and his grandparents owned the last 60 acres that they all grew up on and offered it to him. He bought a 66 mustang instead. Fast forward 45 years and it sold in 2017 for the low price of 9200 acre. Not the money that bothers me as it is prime deer habitat and all the small parcels are quickly getting out of range for guys under 40. Woulda been nice for my kids to be on a 6th generation farm.

It would have been rich to have been able to have one of those in college.

Yep, i learned nothing well except "neither a debtor nor borrower be". BS. You can always declare bankruptcy.

69 GTO. Sold it for $1,200 in 1983. I did the same stupid thing but in 1978, think I sold it to a guy at work for $900.00. I bought it new for $2900.00 off the dealers lot. Somebody should kick my ass for all the neat cars I ruined. I had a really nice 1932 three wind coupe with a 327. Thought I was really smart and ran it without an air cleaner. More HP! It back fired thought the huge Holley card and caught fire. The electric fuel pump just kept on pumping and she when clear to the ground.

Very, very, nice wide 8 point last night broadside @ 20 yards. Definitely a shooter by most any standards - would've been my 3rd, maybe 2nd biggest buck. The problem was trailing 50 yards behind him was a buck that took my breath away. You know how it ends; I never got a shot at the bigger buck. I'll probably regret that all year. Heck, for many years. Bird in the hand, and all.

When I started high school my father encouraged me to join Future Farmers of America. In my sophomore year dad gave me his silver FFA ring from his HS days. I left it on the bathroom vanity to shower and forgot it. We went to the lake for the weekend. My older sister stayed home because she was working. When we got home the ring was gone - stolen by my sister’s first of many deadbeat, drunken, ne’erdowell boyfriends.
Edit to add: Damn, now I wish I had not looked at this thread.

A mint, white, used, 1957 Chrysler 300C Convertible. My mother traded it in on a new, black, 1964 Chevrolet Monza convertible. I was in my teens and had a lot of fun in both cars. Also a 1964 650 cc, BSA Hornet Scrambler Motorcycle.
I still have a 1978 Yamaha SR 500 (single cylinder, kick start) Motorcycle, but haven't run it for years,

We can all thank the auction sites such as Mechum for what has happened to the classic car. It's just capitalism.

36 acres of farm land during the last recession. Wasn't going to sell it until I retired. But I needed the money to get out of my upside down mortgage.
So much for best laid plans.
I could wish a lot of things on my worst enemy but neuropathy ain't one of them.
