Got this rifle that just sits in the safe. It’s in nice shape. I’m not sure if the action is desireable or not. I’m thinking about letting it go but if it isn’t worth much I’m going to keep it and see how it shoots. I couldn’t find much online about it and I their website is in german. I assume it’s from the 70’s given the type of scope on it. I think it’s a Weaver V9W with AO. Double trigger on it is actually kinda cool but it is super sensitive. Can anyone tell me anything about these?

It looks like the Voere Mod 2165, which is still in production. They are made in Austria, on a Mauser M98 action. They are sold here in Oz, and seem like a decent mid-price hunting rifle, a step above the Serbian equivalent and at about the same sort of money as a CZ. The website is in English as well as German: http://www.voere.at/en/rifle-technology/hunting-rifles.html

Nice. Have absolutely no need for another rifle, especially an elk rifle, but that one is pretty dang pretty. Another Vourer I saw at an LGS had a tang safety and a crappy alloy guard. Yours looks much better. Hard to say what it'd bring these days with all the emphasis on cheap and cheaper.

What fresh Hell is this?

Voere rifles? Never heard of vourer. I have several Kleinguenther rifles made by Voere, brought here, sold under Kleinguenther’s name. The first to guarantee 1/2 groups at a hundred yards. Here are three I have left, gave a .257 and a 300 Weatherby to son in laws.

2-300 Weatherby’s and a 7 mag
