What you are witnessing are folks who are disgusted and have a great disdain for an ethnic group that has been given more in the past 60 years than any ethnic group has received in the history of the world. No one can deny the billions of $ spent by American society to lift up and promote these folks. Specific set asides, preferential treatment and the list goes on of which the two of you are all too well aware of.
What has all of this yielded for the society that financed all of it with their hard earned $ ??

I hope Louisville doesn’t expect much out of their police department for the next couple of years.
Both the Mayor and the Governor are a Democrats, so ....
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.

Speaking of the a Democrat Mayor and the Democrat Governor, if these two clowns are preparing for the worst, where is the National Guard?
Or are they going to let the city burn and then blame it on Systemic Racism, the Cops, White Privilege, White Supremacy and most of all President Trump.

If Louisville burns to the ground, the rest of the state will happily bring marshmallows and pull up folding chairs. Louisville's culture and attitude generally hasn't fit in with the rest of the state for at least one or two generations, probably longer.
No telling what the state politicians will do, but the people in the rest of the state generally wouldn't give a crap if the whole city was nuked.

No fan of Little Andy the Governor. But he said that he will call in the National Guard if needed. State Police, also.
Louisville isn't my kind of place. But it's not Portland. Get out of line in Louisville and you stand a chance of getting shot.
One guy in the last little dust up in Louisville a few weeks ago decided to fire a couple of shots in the direction of the police.
He had a funeral.

until we get to the point where we can have a factual conversation about Blacks as a culture in this country without being accused of being a white supremacist or if you are black, Uncle Tom, we're never going to figure this out.
Blacks live in a world of duality - non conformity, along with the idea that segregation is good if its their idea (and therefore beneficial to them) is what is holding them back.
Indians and Chinese have integrated into this country without much racism in the last 50 years because while still maintaining an attachment to their culture , they want to integrate, not segregate, they want to conform, not rebel - Contribute, not consume.
The amount of tolerance we've created for African Americans -media, politics, income security, job placement, education - would be considered an advantage that would lead to superiority with any other culture - and yet other cultures, people who arrive here barely speaking English, overcome and integrate into our society often in a single generation. We see it now with Asians dominating our STEM fields in our education system.
We're on at least 3 generations now since the civil rights act and African Americans are no further ahead, still burning down their own communities in protest every 20 years

Back through part of the '80s and early '90s the place where I worked then hired several Vietnamese 'Boat People' refugees. All were hard, conscientious, dependable, friendly and cooperative workers. They were very frugal and within a few years they bought nice houses in good neighborhoods and had them mortgage free in just a few more years and bought nice but practical vehicles too. They kept their property and possessions well maintained and all made it a point to learn to speak English an adapt to our ways. Their kids excelled in academics all through school and on into college. Needless to say they had to tolerate a fair bit of harassment and racial slurs from some due the lingering memories of the war. Many blacks at work really didn't like them at all as their work ethics and earned personal accomplishments made them look bad.

They're not going to discipline those Police. They can't.
It's not a situation where some cop acted on his own. A warrant was presented to perform a no knock. The Police just did what they were instructed to do by a judge.
Somebody shot. The police shot back.
I also just heard on the local news that crowds are gathering in Lexington.
It's shaping up to be a two city jiggaboo stampede.
