Well it’s finally here. In a couple of days I will be leaving to take part in the great Maine moose hunt. Truly a hunt of a lifetime. I want to take this opportunity to wish all my fellow permittees a very successful and safe hunt!

OMM has a good reputation. I have seen a boatload of their bear baits this Fall.

I took my biggest whitetail buck in T8 R5 North of Patten in Aroostook County many years ago. Saw lots of moose on that hunt although it was several years until Maine established a moose season. Good luck with your hunt.

Good luck! Can't wait to read your report.

I've wanted to hunt moose in the Northeast for a LONG time.

I’m leaving Saturday morning from Michigan heading to Jackman. I’m so Looking forward to the break and to the hunt. My trip isn’t just to hunt though. Dang Indians talked me into building them a cabin while I’m there. I don’t know how to say no. lol
