Of course, his actions seem to have led to a change in the power structure of the Country at that time.

So far? Yes. In lesser countries these azzhats would have been mass executed on day 1, and their family all murdered. The fact we are in the USA these azzhats are still even alive.

You know, this is why (though I am personally in favor of fixed bayonets and taking the field) I think that the best practical thing to do, considering the situation, is to let 'em keep on burning.... MAYBE it will eventually wake people up. Probably won't, but MAYBE. And THEN we can gun 'em down. Wishful thinking, perhaps.
