Thinking about trying it behind 168gr nosler ballistic tip. Looks like I could see a little velocity increase over the imr 4064 I've been using.

Baldhunter-
What brass and primers are you using? I've used the 168 ballistic tip with RL15 on several deer and it works well. But, like most rifle loonies, I'm always interested in something that might be better.

Thanx.

I use WW or Lapua cases, standard CCI primers, Sierra or Nosler 168, Match King or Custom Comp, with 43.5 Grains of RL-15 at 2.785 for sub 1/2 min groups.

Better for hunting would be a Nosler Partition or Accubond, the most accurate bullets are most likely not bullets that I would use for hunting.

I use Winchester brass and WLRM Primers and my favorite bullet the 168gr Ballistic Tip.That bullet is just a tad longer, but it shoots so much better for me than the 165gr Ballistic Tip.Here is another one of my 308's,same components, different powder
